Kelly Scheder is a passionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner currently serving at the La Farge Medical Clinic – VMH. With over two decades of experience, Kelly has been a valuable member of the La Farge clinic since 2004, providing expert care and building lasting relationships with her patients. Originally from Appleton, WI, she relocated to the serene landscapes of the Kickapoo Valley in 2004, where she and her husband, Mike, are raising their two wonderful sons alongside their two feline companions.

Kelly’s passion for medicine stems from her fascination with the science of healthcare and her love for working closely with diverse individuals. Her practice covers a wide range of services, including routine care, physicals, well-child exams, mental health and compassionate care for patients dealing with illnesses or injuries. Kelly takes pleasure in engaging with women’s health, including aspects such as contraception and prenatal care until the 28th week of pregnancy. Her patient care strategy centers on fostering transparent conversations, enabling patients to confidently make knowledgeable choices regarding their well-being.
She is also actively involved in coordinating the Reach Out and Read Program at the clinic, promoting early literacy among young patients and their families.
She holds several certifications and licenses to ensure the best possible care for her patients, including PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) – Family Nurse Practitioner, and is a Certified Medical Examiner for CDL licensing. Kelly’s dedication to her profession drives her to stay informed about the latest advancements in healthcare.
Outside of her work, Kelly enjoys outdoor activities, including cross-country skiing, hiking, and gardening. She also dedicates her time to sports physical nights at local clinics, supporting high school athletes and further engaging with the community.
