Meet Holly Dwyer, a devoted Licensed Professional Counselor with expertise in guiding individuals and their families through emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. Holly, rooted in the driftless and river valley area, currently resides in La Crosse, WI, with her husband and daughter.

Holly’s academic journey began at Viterbo University, where she majored in Psychology with a minor in substance abuse counseling. She continued her education at Winona State University, earning a master’s in clinical Mental Health. Holly brings a wealth of experience from her work within schools and community-based settings.

Inspired by the profound transformations she witnesses as individuals or families gain insight to their behaviors and find meaning in their experiences; Holly is passionate about her work.

Holly works with individuals aged 4 through adulthood, addressing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, identity concerns, grief, autism, borderline personality disorder, ODD, and ADHD.

To assist her patients in identifying and achieving their unique treatment goals, Holly employs a blend of therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual. Her toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Play-Based Therapy, and an informed approach based on Internal Family Systems.

Having a special interest in addressing issues related to transitions through the lifespan, LGBTQ+, chronic pain/illness, grief, self-harm behaviors, and suicidal ideation, Holly is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care.
