Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine is an imaging test that uses a very small amount of a nuclear tracer to assess soft tissue, such as intestines, muscles, and blood vessels that are hard to see with standard imaging tests.

With a nuclear scan, your healthcare provider can assess and diagnose many conditions such as tumors, infections, or organ enlargement. A nuclear scan may also be used to check organ function and blood circulation.
